Eleanor McEvoy & John Spillane

Eleanor McEvoy and John Spillane bring two distinct voices to the stage—McEvoy, whose songwriting defined a generation of Irish music, and Spillane, a storyteller and performer whose work weaves together poetry, place, and the rhythms of traditional song. McEvoy's career has unfolded with characteristic independence, marked by literate compositions and a performer's command of narrative. Spillane's music carries an almost sean-nós quality, moving between melancholic beauty and irreverent humor with equal ease. Together, they offer a concert grounded in the craft of songwriting and the intimacy of live performance.
