Bear Creek Ranch — White, United States
A family-run Christian deliverance and inner-healing retreat ranch in White, Georgia
Bear Creek Ranch sits at 1385 Knox Bridge Highway in White, Georgia. Tim Mather, a pastor for more than 20 years who also spent many years on the conference circuit, founded it in 2008. He and his wife Katie, who had served beside him through the pastorate and the road, describe the ranch as the beginning of a vision long planted in their hearts: a Center for Wholeness where seekers can come for deliverance and inner-healing ministry and training.
The work rests on Luke 4:18, the passage the Mathers say shaped their ministry. The ranch's own term is prophetic deliverance, which its FAQ defines as casting out demons through the prophetic gifts of the Holy Spirit, without speaking to the demon and without allowing manifestations. The Mathers say they have ministered it for over 30 years. Tim's book Prophetic Deliverance is required reading before anyone attends.
The entry point is the Deliverance Retreat, held Friday through Sunday for adults 18 and over, limited to 18 people and set in what the ranch calls a small group, living-room setting. It combines preparation seminars, a private deliverance session, teaching on wholeness and inner healing, and four weeks of coaching afterward. Registration is by phone interview, and meals at the ranch are provided. Guests arrange their own lodging nearby.
Beyond that first retreat the ranch lays out a staged path. King Camp, the first advanced wholeness retreat, comes at least three months later and centres on learning to love oneself in one's broken places. Gathering of Kings follows another three months on and turns to why neighbours are hard to love. Deliverance Team Training is for those who wish to join or form deliverance teams. A third advanced retreat, King of Kings, is listed for 2027. Alumni may return free of charge, with room for six at each retreat.
The ranch remains a family enterprise. Heather Trim, the Mathers' daughter, has been executive director since 2019, and her husband Kevin is treasurer. Sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren work as facilitators, coaches, registrars, hospitality staff and, in one case, the ranch beekeeper.
