Question 1

What's the difference between Preethaji's teaching style and other spiritual teachers I might find at festivals?

Accepted Answer

Preethaji's approach through the Ekam Institute uniquely bridges ancient Vedantic philosophy with contemporary insights into consciousness, rather than focusing on a single tradition or technique. Her sessions tend to be inquiry-based satsangs that guide seekers toward direct understanding of self-realization rather than teaching a specific meditation method, making her events contemplative experiences rather than instructional workshops.

Question 2

Will Preethaji be doing guided meditations or is this a talk-based event?

Accepted Answer

Preethaji's live sessions typically blend both—her teaching unfolds through dialogue and philosophical inquiry (satsang), often held in a meditative atmosphere that naturally cultivates inner silence and presence. Expect a contemplative, conversational exploration of consciousness rather than a structured guided meditation with instructions.

Question 3

I'm familiar with Advaita Vedanta but new to Preethaji—what should I know about her specific lineage or approach?

Accepted Answer

Preethaji's teachings through Ekam draw on ancient wisdom but are distinctly contemporary in how she addresses modern consciousness and existential questions for today's seekers. Rather than presenting Vedanta as a historical philosophy, she uses it as a living inquiry into the nature of existence and direct self-understanding, often emphasizing the practical unfolding of awakening in daily life.

Question 4

Is this event primarily for people already on a spiritual path, or can someone new to these teachings attend?

Accepted Answer

Preethaji's satsangs welcome both seasoned practitioners and genuine seekers encountering these teachings for the first time, as her inquiry-based approach doesn't assume prior knowledge of any tradition. However, the event will be most resonant for those genuinely curious about consciousness and self-realization—it's not an introductory lecture, but rather an invitation into deeper inquiry.

Question 5

How does Preethaji's teaching on self-realization differ from typical meditation or mindfulness workshops?

Accepted Answer

Rather than teaching techniques to calm the mind or reduce stress, Preethaji points toward the fundamental nature of consciousness itself and the possibility of direct insight into one's true nature—this is self-realization work, not optimization. Her sessions function as invitations to investigate who is aware, rather than how to meditate better.

Question 6

Will there be opportunities to ask questions directly during the Oneness Abundance Festival session?

Accepted Answer

Preethaji's satsang format traditionally includes space for inquiry and dialogue where attendees can ask questions about their understanding or experience, though the specific format for the festival session depends on the event structure, which should be confirmed closer to the date.
