SpiritFlow Sedona occupies Suite E-200 of The Collective Sedona on Highway 179, on the second floor of the E-Building, with an upper deck looking out over the red rocks. From there the view takes in Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Castle Rock, the formations around which much of the center's outdoor work is organized. The center is the work of Melina Fuhrmann, and her path to it was not a straight one. She began in banking in Boston, took an M.A. from Johns Hopkins (SAIS) and an MBA from INSEAD, and from 1997 to 2006 worked in international business development for Swiss and American financial institutions. After a break following the birth of her daughter, she returned to the spiritual training she had set aside: Reiki Master Teacher certification in Geneva, then a four-year course at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Europe in Bad Ischl, Austria. She founded a wellness practice in Geneva and the U.K., co-founded an energy-consciousness school in Sanremo, Italy, and in 2019 moved to Sedona. The center describes her as the only Brennan Healing Science practitioner in town. The retreats are the center's core, and they are deliberately small. The Sacred Sedona Healing Retreat runs three days at $999 per person, and the Sedona SpiritFlow Weekend runs two days at $499, both capped at eight people. Days last eight to ten hours and fold together energy-consciousness teaching, pendulum chakra readings, daily breathwork, Brennan Healing Science, Himalayan singing bowl and crystal bowl sound baths, a cacao ceremony, and a labyrinth walk. Private and couples retreats run two to four days, with prices published by season. Land work happens outdoors at sites including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock. The center says it operates under a Coconino National Forest permit held through the Sedona Metaphysical Spiritual Association. Guests can stay at a separate 832-square-foot casita with Bell Rock views, three minutes away. The center also offers courses, Reiki levels 1 through 4, and corporate programs.
